About Me
I have been a high risk breast cancer nurse practioner in the Margaret West Comprehensive Breast Center at West Cancer Center & Research Institute since 2016. Before joining West, I worked at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a bone marrow transplant inpatient nurse. My personal journey to the genetics and high risk breast specialty was due to my mother having breast cancer when I was younger. As a high risk patient myself, I wanted to better understand the disease and help women increase their knowledge about risk factors and early detection. To further my knowledge in cancer genetics, I just completed an intensive course in cancer genetics at the City of Hope.
Spending time with my family, watching movies and reading and how I like to spend my free time outside of work.
