Dr. Chandler and his family are pleased to be back in the Memphis area after his fellowship with Ohio State University. He and his wife, also a native Memphian, have four children. Dr. Chandler is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Hematology, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Education and Training
A native Memphian, Dr. Chandler attended Christian Brothers University where he received a degree in electrical engineering. He went on to pursue a career in medicine and attended the University of Tennessee School of Medicine, receiving his Medical Degree in 2003. Dr. Chandler also completed his postdoctoral training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Tennessee School of Medicine. During his medical rotations, he had the opportunity to meet and work with Lee Schwartzberg, MD, FACP, and Arnel Pallera, MD. Dr. Chandler went on to receive a fellowship in Medical Oncology/Hematology at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, where he concentrated on leukemia research and immunology.

Dr. Chandler is the Associate Director of the New Therapeutics Program, which is committed to providing access to early-stage clinical trials to West Cancer Center patients.
