Dr. Pallera sees patients in our Memphis and Collierville offices. Patients respond to Dr. Pallera’s understanding manner and his thorough attention to their needs. In addition to treating their disease, he always seeks ways to help improve their quality of life. Beneath his kind, gentle surface is a physician who relentlessly seeks every avenue for his patients’ benefit.
A native Memphian, Dr. Pallera and his wife enjoy spending time with their children at baseball games and gymnastics. He is an avid golfer and holds a 2nd degree brown belt in karate.
Education and Training
Dr. Pallera’s academic excellence includes graduating Summa Cum Laude from Medical School at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tenn., and Magna Cum Laude distinction in Biology from Rhodes College. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha and Phi Beta Kappa honor societies. He completed residencies with Board certifications in both internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Pallera then completed his fellowship work in Hematology-Oncology at Washington University, St. Louis.
Dr. Pallera was recently awarded the 2014-2015 Marion Dugdale Faculty of the Year Award.
Dr. Pallera is actively involved in research including Phase I to Phase III trials at West Cancer Center.
Over the years, Dr. Pallera has co-authored nearly a dozen articles published in various journals or presented at conferences such as World Cutaneous Malignancies Congress and ASCO.
