West Cancer Center is fighting the war on cancer – but there is much more work to do. With your help, we will ensure that cancer patients have access to the most cutting-edge research and effective therapies possible.

Greeter – front of the building, information desks.     

  • Assist patients with exiting their cars and entering the building.
  • Be familiar with the staff and layout of the building
  • Friendly and outgoing.    

Transporters – move patients within the building. 

  • Transport patients to different areas of the clinic.
  • Must be able to walk unassisted and push a wheelchair. 
  • Be familiar with the staff and layout in the building. 
  • Friendly and pleasant.    

 Comfort Keepers – hand out snacks, blankets, books. 

  • Circulate in waiting areas, treatment areas, and clinic spaces distributing comfort items. 
  • Look for patients who need items, much like ambassadors.
  • Friendly and pleasant.    

 Boutique – assist with boutique operations. 

  •  Assist with boutique sales.  
  •  Assist patients with wigs, scarves and information on form fitting and lymphedema. 
  • There for assistance only (not “salespeople” pushing items)    

 ASTC – work with radiology in recovery. 

  • Assist with patient needs (blankets, juice, magazines).  
  •  Assist staff with getting family members and patients. 
  •  Answer phones when necessary.  

 Community Events – community events and health fairs 

  • Be willing to attend community events. 
  •  Assist with giving out information.
  • Help with set-up and take-down of the table
